Sarah Goodwin

Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Sarah is an accomplished singer, who from a young age has been influenced by the jazz, soul and swing music of bygone eras. Her greatest influences are Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse and the songs of Burt Bacharach. Aged 16, she became a top 10 finalist in Ireland’s TV music competition,”You’re A Star” and a few years later, moved to London to further her music experience.

 

Sarah’s warm personality and professional approach has seen her grace the stage of venues like The Royal Albert Hall, Quaglinos, The Ned, Kensington Roof Gardens, The Mandarin Oriental, Soho House, The Savoy Hotel and The Ivy, as well as performances on Irish national television and the International Guinness Jazz Festival.

 

In 2018, she took part in a songwriting camp Nashville co-writing music with American writers who have have written for the likes of Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber.

 

Alongside performing, Sarah has a masters degree in journalism, and has worked freelance for many media and entertainment companies such as Getty Images, Global Radio and ITV.

 

Sarah joined Belle Noir in 2016 and has truly found her calling!
